Sleeping time 3 hours, driving time 15 hours. 70% more time to deliver the order. ver. 1.47 for ETS2!!! This sleep/drive mode is good if you like to drive over day and night you rest. Your working hours may look like for example like this: Non-interruption mode – the ride starts at 6 a.m., ends at 9 p.m.
I just want remove the pop-ups, I don't want to use any mod. I know by myself when to fuel, sleep, press a button, etc. Thanks for the help, anyway. Turn off the Route Advisor then. F3. But you'll still get the parking popups and other pertinent information from time to time.
Viewed 20k times. 20. It seems that rest is by default 8 hours. I pull into the spot and pull out 8 hours later well-rested. The issue, sometimes, is that waiting 8 hours is going to make your cargo late. I could rest for 4 hours, however, and still make the delivery on time.
To create such a mod, the whole map would need to be re-edited, with lots of rest triggers added and the existing ones extended. Then again, someone with actual map editor experience can correct me if I'm wrong. Ex-ProMods tester and ex-Moderator. Translator of the official ETS2 + ATS Hungarian localizations.

Whoever said that it's realistic, it's not realistic at all, in the EU a truck driver is not allowed to drive for 9 or 10 hours straight, there has to be a 45 min. break after 4.5 hours of driving, tmk the driver is free to split those up over 15 min. breaks, but there are other none driving related laws about break time (per country)
This mod allows you to have regular days of about 24h, half of which for sleeping and the other half for driving. Indeed you have 2 additional hours for driving, for a total of 13h, and 4 additional hours for sleeping, for a total of 12h. Considering that, on average, drivers reach the place to sleep about an hour before the deadline, you are
Yes, you have to sleep even if there is still three hours of driving to reach your destination Just to clarify this point: When you only have 3-4 hours of driving time left, it is time to check the map for where the next rest area is, and possibly get a viapoint there. Most rest areas have a driving time of 2-3 hours between them .. But Not all.

I totally dropped off a load 5 hours late one time because I slept at the wrong time. I think that being forced to sleep the whole time (which is realistic anyway) also forces you to be more strategic in which loads you pick up. If you have 3 hours left until you rest, don't pick up the 9 hour job that needs delivering in 11 hours.
